Compass Minerals International, Inc. (NYSE: CMP) (“Compass Minerals” or the “company”) today provided the following comment on the recent announcement by The White House that, effective Sept. 15, 2026, salt and pure sodium chloride produced in Canada are excluded from the 50% ad valorem Section 338 tariffs.
